Photography Portfolio

I have just finished putting the finishing touches on my (mostly just for fun) photography website, labfotografik.com. My photography portfolio consists of mainly landscape photos from both recent day trips around the Las Vegas area and vacations to the other side of the world. I also have a section on animal photography as well, and am hoping to add more of a variety of photos in the future.

As with anything creative related, this will be an ongoing work in progress for me and will be updated as much as I can get out from behind my computer screen. 🙂 My main reason for creating this website is to personally improve upon my skills and challenge myself in an area that I have always felt needed work. Way back in the early 2000s when I was working on my bachelors degree, I was always a low B-grade student in photography. Compared to design, photography did not come as easy to me for some reason. I think I used to actually have nightmares about the constant dust on the enlarger and my film!

However, since I am not being graded for it anymore, I can now hopefully have a better relationship with design’s sister, photography. And as much as I would love to have my own personal (dust-free!) darkroom, the huge advancements and improvements in digital cameras in the past 10-15 years make this fun hobby of mine super convenient.
